8/25/08 03:34 pm - It's always something

Why does my life suck sometimes?  I had a wonderful weekend at Otakon and spent all of my money, then come home to discover my computer is acting funny.  I take it to get fixed thinking it is only a little problem and discover my mother board is fried.  It costs like $300 to get it fixed.  Sigh, that is why I am looking for somewhere to work this year.  Maybe then I shall have enough for the cons I plan on going to.

I know right now somehow I am going to AnimeUSA I have already gotten my reservation.  I MUST go see Versailles, Kamijo is wonderful.

I will try (hopefully) to somehow share my pics from Otakon (those taken before my battery died).  If anybody wants them let me know and help me figure out how to get them to you, I am happy to share.

That all...I'm going to cry over my suffering funds now.

3/23/08 05:15 pm - dreams...

I really need to learn my lesson about what I can and cannot read before going to sleep.  I was reading my new book, which contains demony things and such, and somehow they managed to invade my dreams.  I was also fighting a demon woman but the only weapons I had were a piece of chalk and a chopstick.  Somehow I managed to shove the piece of chalk into the demon's spinal cord and then managed to spin her head around a few times.  For good measure I stuck the chopstick into her throat.  It was kinda gruesome.  I need more dreams where I cuddle with Japanese actors, now those are fun.

3/16/08 10:25 am

Friday night was amazing.  I went to see the Taste of Chaos tour in Camden NJ.  Mainly I went to see MUCC and the 2 other Japanese bands I could really care less about the American bands that were playing.  I have been looking forward to this night since we got the tickets in January.  My friends, in a wonderful show of faith, decided that I should drive.  Luckely I did not find the gehttos like I usuall would (except that Camden is kinda a gehtto itself but since I was actually going there it should not count.  We walked into the pit area (it was sooo close to the stage!)  right before D'spairs Ray started playing.  I don't know many of their songs but damn do they put on an amazing show!  I was proud that I actually recognized one of their songs even if I couldn't sing with it.  The band members were all so adorable!  I really wanted to steal the vocalists jackt with him in it.  It was all awsome and j-rocker-ie.  After they were done a small unknown American band started playing but I pretty much ignored they and started squeeing over MUCC setting up their equipment.  I almost took out my friends eye when my favorite member, the bassist Yukke, first came out on stage.  We both turned to eachother at the same time and started squeeing really loudly.  When MUCC started playing I was in heaven.  Ahhh...they too put on a damn good show.  Tatsurou their vocalist is wonderfully twitchy when he dances and it is fun to watch.  I swear Tatsurou must hate shoes, he is never wearing them.  At the concert both he and Yukke were delightfully barefoot, more squee.  During the course of their playing I didn't know all of the songs, but I made up for it when FUZZ and Libra started playing.  As soon as Yukke grabed his stad up bass, which was still taller than him even if it was a smaller one, I started screaming 'cause I knew that FUZZ was comming.  When it started playing I almost died.  I think I got some weird looks because I could actually sing with most of the Japanese lyrics.  In the middle of their performance Tatsurou took a moment to make a comment thanking the other bands, his Engrish was sooooo adorable.  He had all his notes written on the stage and he had to find the right one to read.  Of course there was some asshole who started yelling that he couldn't understand what Tatsurou was saying but after all the dirty glares he recieved from us he shut up pretty quickly.  It's like come on, you try getting up on a stage and speaking a language that is not your native language, it is not easy!  The last song they played was Libra, and once again I could sing with it which made me increadibly happy.  After MUCC was done we stayed and watched the third Japanese band, the Underneath.  They were pretty good and I enjoyed their performance as well.  I really didn't care about the other bands playing that night, so when the Underneath were done my friends and I went to buy our wonderful concert souveniers.  I got some T-shirts, 2 magazines, and a free MUCC poster.  Then finally came the icing on the cake, all three bands were signing autographs!  We waited in line for awhile so I practiced my Japanese so I could tell them it was a great show. They were all so happy!  It was great I got to shake their hands and most of them were all smiles and cuteness.  Then of course I came to Yukke, a mere handshake would not do so I got my very own hug!! Too bad their was so much security around, I had my arms around him and I just wanted to throw him over my shoulder and carry him home to live in my closet.  Sigh...but alas it was not to be.  I also got a hug from Tatsuro which made my day too.  I got hugs from 2 j-rockers, my knees felt weak afterwards.  When we were done getting autographs and molesting the j-rockers we decided that the night could not get any better so we left.  I didn't get lost on the way home either so go me!!!  I am still floating, asians are my drug.  Sigh... well after all this squeeing I must go now and enjoy my birthday festivities.  Ja!!!

3/1/08 06:27 pm - Time for an update

It's been awhile, but no I am not dead...yet.  Not much going on.  Classes are actually being good to me this semester allowing me plenty of time for procrastination.  Awhile ago I finished watching Code Geass and I am now caught up on One Piece.  I just started a new series called Reborn!  I am still at the beginning so the characters are just being introduced and not much is happening yet.  I looks like it has much potential.  Thanks to Kim for asking someone to watch it.  I really want to start reading some clamp series like xxxholic and Tsubasa.  The angst of ripping ones eye out is just appealing to me I guess.

Man, by the end of this semester I am not going to have any money left to my name.  I keep planning trips (including 2 to NY).  Sigh...hot asians are worth it though.  Of course in two weeks I also have my concert in Philadelphia.  I can't wait to kidnapp MUCC.  I think Yukke would fit perfectly in my closet.

I am excited, I got a great British comedy movie today.  It's called Death at a Funeral.  Whoever might happen to read this should deffinately watch this movie.  It is very funny and it makes me happy.  Well time for me to go procrastinate some more.

1/20/08 01:49 am - New to the wonderful world of LJ

So after a very long time, and at the insistence of my friends, I finally caved and got myself an LJ account.  Now I just need to remember to use it.  As soon as I find time amongst all the reading I must do, I will find my way around and get together with my friends!  Joy.
